Westwood, Brentwood, Santa Monica, Hollywood, and the greater
Los Angeles area.
Who We Are
Dr. Khorsandi received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psycho-Biology
from UCLA. His dental education was completed at Northwestern
University in Chicago where he received his Doctorate of Dental
Surgery. He has also received additional training in one year
post-doctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency
in Arizona. This residency allowed Dr. Khorsandi to further
refine his skills in cosmetic and more complex and rehabilitative
cases. Since then he has been working in the West Los Angeles
area as an associate dentist in numerous high-quality offices
and is currently on staff at the UCLA Dental School as a part-time
clinical instructor. He also has extensive experience in the
day spa and medi-spa industry where he provided cosmetic procedures
to the clients and consulting services to the spas. When not
at the office, Dr. Khorsandi enjoys growing and playing his
extensive music collection, participating in local auto racing
events and spending time with his family and friends.
Philosophy
In an effort to provide the ultimate in dental care within a
peaceful and serene environment, Zendental was born. Zendental
has been designed to challenge the perception of a typical dental
office by providing a peaceful and relaxing experience in a
historically less than calming setting. In order to understand
our office philosophy one must take a step back from the traditional
notion of the dental office and prepare themselves to be immersed
in a completely different environment.
From the minute you walk into the office, you will be surrounded
by relaxtion. From out Zen decor to the eclectic music selections,
we will make sure you leave our office with more than just a
dental experience. We have taken every effort to sure that your
visit will be a comfortable and satisfying experience.

aimed at preserving your oral health by using the most advanced
yet conservative methods and technology currently on the market.
The following are our newest additions:
Bruxism (teeth grinding) - A novel and effective approach to
treating bruxism (grinding), TMJ and migraine problems without
the use of a nightguard. Using botulinum toxin we can help control
the over-usage of the grinding muscles within the face and significantly
reduce symptoms associated with grinding, TMJ and migraines.
Nitrous Oxide Sedation - Get ready to drift off into dental
bliss. Most procedures we offer come with complimentary nitrous
and oxygen. For those patients that really want to "get
away" or are just a little anxious, our staff will make
sure that your comfort is our priority.
Intra-Oral Camera - Now you can see what we see while your examination
is in progress. About the size of a dental mirror, it transmits
a full-color picture of your teeth and gums onto a television
screen.
Laser Tooth Scanning - Diagnodent is a breakthrough technology
which scans your teeth with harmless laser light searching for
hidden decay. This unique instrument provides instant feedback
on the health of the tooth. A pen like probe simply glides over
tooth surfaces constantly checking the tooth. A number scale
and an alarm signals the operator when there are signs of hidden
decay. This new technology is completely safe and pain free.
We are very excited to offer this innovative tool to our patients
in an effort to detect early signs of decay so we can conserve
as much healthy tooth structure as possible.
